The Public is advised that on 31 January 2022, an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Bel Air Resorts and Residences Project in Gregory Town, Eleuthera was filed with the Department of Environmental Planning and Protection (DEPP) by Bel Air Resorts Group, LLC. The project activities will include the construction of a mixed-use resort development. The Public is to note that this EIA addresses 51 acres of land and a 5-acre beachfront parcel.

The EIA document is available online at belairbahamas.com. The document can be downloaded and all comments and questions can be provided to the Developer directly at info@sevconsulting.com and to the Director of the Department of Environmental Planning and Protection in writing at inquiries@depp.gov.bs. A Public meeting will be held on Thursday, 12 May 2022 at 6:00 pm chaired by the DEPP. The meeting will be virtual. Sign in information for the meeting is provided below:
